FREE CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
* HOMEWORK
CLUB: Supervised by teaching assistants who help all students with
their homework. Students do daily homework
assignments in
a classroom setting. Located in the old library across from the main office,
there is 35 student
capacity. First come, first served.
2-3:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays,
and Thursdays.
1-2:30 p.m. Tuesdays.
Closed Fridays
*AFTER SCHOOL PLAYGROUND: LAUSD Youth Services "Beyond the Bell"
After School Playground program is from 2 - 5:30 p.m. every school
day for students. Children must be at least 7 years of age.
Kindergartners and First Graders must be picked up from school at
2:00 unless they go to After School Childcare (see below). They are
not allowed to stay on the playground with the older children. This is
not a childcare program. Children are directed to stay in the
designated play area until they are picked up or supposed to walk
home.
* Students who do not follow playground rules will be
warned, suspended and then excluded from the After School Playground
program. Parents will be notified.
