I am truly a native Southern Californian. I was born in the shadow of the “Hollywood Sign” at Kaiser Hospital on Sunset Blvd. I have lived all my life in the Southern California area. I have been teaching for over 21 years in the LAUSD, 16 of those years have been in Special Education. I earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies form C.S.U.N., and a Master’s in Education Management from the University of La Verne. I also have several special credentials that have helped prepared me to do my job as the Resource Specialist.

I am married to a law librarian, and have two beautiful daughters. My oldest daughter is a senior at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. My youngest child is in the 7th grade. My family lives in Valencia, California. In my spare time I enjoy singing in the church choir and dancing. The one thing my friends and family know for sure is that I am an avid “I Love Lucy” fan.
