Ms. Dessa Kessee 2nd Grade Teacher and Gifted/SAS Coordinator I graduated with a degree in Child Development from CSUN in 2001. Then I returned to CSUN to work on my teaching credential. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to student teach at Dearborn and I never left! I have been here since 2002. I have taught first through third grade. I loved teaching first grade and watching the students grow into skilled readers and writers. I also enjoyed working with third graders that were a little more independent. Now I have the opportunity to work right in the middle with second graders. In addition to teaching I have also been the GATE and SAS Coordinator at Dearborn since 2006 .
