Valet, Drop Off & Pick Up Rules

Dearborn offers a drop-off valet service in the morning before school that allows parents to pull up near the Wish Ave. gate to drop off students. Parents are asked to observe the following rules to ensure the safety of students. There will be more information posted here soon on the after school pick up and gate policy.

DEARBORN VALET RULES:

** Plan on arriving at school between 7:20 a.m. and 7:40 a.m. This will mean less hurrying during drop off. This also gives students time to talk to friends and be relaxed to begin the day. Students should be in their classroom line when the 7:51 A.M. bell rings.

** Parents are asked to follow the directions of school staff and parent volunteers directing traffic. Please pull all the way forward to the person in the orange vest before having your child exit your vehicle.

** Students should have all materials ready and kisses given before entering the valet cone zone. Children may only exit on the curb side.

PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY AND DO NOT PARK OR BLOCK THE BUS ZONE!! YOU WILL GET A TICKET FROM LAPD OR SCHOOL POLICE.

** There is no backing up or pulling out of the valet line up.

** Do not make illegal U-turns.

** Do not double park to drop off your child.

** Do not jaywalk through lanes of traffic. Please walk your child to the nearest crosswalk to walk across safely.

** Do not pull into or use utility driveway (just past the Wish Avenue drop-off gate). Even temporarily parking here stops Dearborn valet traffic.
